OKLAHOMA SCOTTISH FESTIVAL
Celebrating Scottish Culture and Heritage in Green Country

OVERVIEW
Discover you’re a wee bit Scottish at the 29th Annual OKLAHOMA SCOTTISH FESTIVAL Sept. 12-14, 2008. Renowned for its outstanding entertainment, the Festival is host to top musicians, pipe bands, athletes, highland dancers and the inaugural InterServices Tug ‘O War competition. An exciting array of food, merchandise, souvenirs and beverages will also be available for purchase.

LOCATION:
Staged at River West Festival Park on the beautiful west bank of the Arkansas River at 2100 S. Jackson Ave., just southwest of downtown Tulsa.

DATES/TIMES:
Sept. 12-14, 2008
Friday: 5 p.m., grand opening and fire ceremony
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

AUDIENCE AND DEMOGRAPHICS
Ten thousand people from Oklahoma and the surrounding states are expected to attend the 29th Annual Oklahoma Scottish Festival.

Participants and spectators are comprised of all demographic groups. Average attendees are professionals who are married with children and between the ages of 28-42 years old.
